The night came quickly, I had to make a fire to stay warm. The whole night i felt like was was being watched. Thought the threat was there, i needed more wood for the fire. I gathered wood from small trees at the edge of the tree line. I needed sleep, something I haven't had yet. I had to sleep on the sand that night. Through my nervous fear, I managed to fall asleep. Nightmares came after that, Raptors, they found me and tore my apart over and over until I wake up. The fire had gone out and thebsun had risen. I couldn't stay.

hey man this is a really lovely poem and i am completely and totally like in love with the last four lines like i think you should be constantly proud of this because it's a beautiful piece and it's the exact right length and it's exactly what i needed to hear when i read it so, like, thank you for that. i think you are pretty much very wonderful.
